How about we just go on the assumption that things are likely to stay the same or get worse over the next couple years. (that's the assumption I make anyhow) Let's anualize 11.7 cents..it's 46.8 cents. (i think they will be lucky to pull that off this year) At $20 it's a p/e of about 43. how's about we cut that in half...$10 stock...p/e 22. I think that would look a little more reasonable... btw. i'm not short compaq...i'm short intc. bambs p.s these "one time item's" seem to be happening far to often on far too many stocks...it should be considered...just look at csco's one time right off 3.7 billion...that wipes out a years earnings!
