Oh dear, qveauriche. Sometimes you sound so awfully irritated. Hypertension? Or worse, bad calls?

Furthermore, you seem to suffer of a little misconception about the technology. Marketing BS aside, CDMA2000 1X can not and is not competing with WCDMA. Its like GPRS: a cost effective addition to existing 2G system of a certain technology, increasing the data speeds to a max of around 100 kbs on the field. Biggest difference is that CDMA2000 has a manual gearbox.

WCDMA is a different matter. Koreans call CDMA2000 as 2.5G - Dr. J admitted that himself. And them guys are no spring chicken when it comes to CDMA systems (and between us: they know a betamax system when they see one).

If ITU labels CDMA2000 as 3G, that does not a fast system make. If you know what I mean.

And you can´t tell me to go home, it´s not polite. Besides I´m already there.
