More than Tech giving warnings................Medical device maker Guidant Corp. (GDT: Research, Estimates) reported an increase in first-quarter earnings from a year ago, in line with Wall Street's expectations on increasing sales, but warned the slowing economy would cause it to miss second quarter earnings.
