It would seem that Qualcomm prefers not having any friends. Strange. Ericsson cerainly hasn't done anything to champion their cause now that Ericsson is supposedly standards neutral when it comes to infrastructure. They must be guiding operators away from CDMA2000 and toward WCDMA purposefully. They haven't announced one measly CDMA2000 contract win since purchasing Qualcomm's old infrastructure unit, as far as I can tell. It's quite telling that Ericsson has reached a truce with them and still doesn't appear to like them one whit.
