The SANmark is a pretty big deal for the industry, and I would expect that all publicly traded FC vendors would jump in and make changes as required to gain SANmark certification.

I can't imagine Brocade not going after the cert, unless of course there is a problem with their equipment or firmware. After reading the spec, I can see how it would be possible there would be a problem because requirements are pretty stringent (but I am NOT implying that they won't pass with ease w/o having to make any changes).

Maybe Brocade just wants to make sure they can pass everything before attempting to go to Boulder or New Hampshire to attempt certification.
