Ameritrade problem. I put in an order to short 300 SEBL at market on 4-19-2001 @ 09:34:25 EST it was about $42. Ameritrade did not fill my order until 09:41:09 EST @ $40.50. There was an uptick at 09:36:44 @ $41.66. They told me "Our cage had not located the shares at 9:36:44. The order was released to market at 9:36:59 and was filled after an uptick at 9:41:40. Is this normal? How can I check the facts out? Do I have any recourse from here? Thanks
