I, too, am frustrated with Ampex and I think I'll start unloading some shares. Bramson's unpredictable antics are mildly annoying, but what remains most annoying in my mind is AXC's horrible job of PR. The goal of any company worth its weight in salt is to maximize shareholder value. While I agree that unbridled hype is not the way to go, a steady stream of real news on new products and alliances often gets the attention of investors, large and small, and has positive impact on shareholder value. Without new deals and new products, even some of us die-hards will lose patience at some point, and that will be the bane of AXC's stock price.
