WOW has a similar function. The name escapes me right now. The problem is not so much how many days since entry as it is what was the entry price. WOW has no variable capability and I havn't found any way to determine price inside the system logic. If I could have my systems know what the entry price was, I could adjust exit criterion and or stops inside the system. WOWs' stop abilities are external to the actual code of the system and are very crude.

I've played with the idea of using price, volatility, & time in the trade to set up a system that simply exits after a certain %gain. The %gain exit is initially set according to price and volatility and is adjusted "downward" according to time in the trade. Also the stop loss limits are adjusted upward according to time in the trade. I can't do it because I don't know what price I entered the stock at.
