Curious when some may think the banks will begin to come down on home mortgage rates. Looking to buy a house soon but have been holding off until I can possibly get a better rate in the near future. Thinking of summertime.

Real Estate still strong here in SW Fla,,,but starting to notice a slight slow down with existing homes coming up for sale and sitting on the market much longer than whereas 6 months ago any homes coming on the market where sold as fast as they came up, like hot cakes.

Right now, in my area we are looking at around 7 percent on a 30 year fixed.

Any thoughts on the real estate market and interest rates in general appreciated.
