NorAm Announces Directors Review of Transactions and Clarification of Press Release Dated April 16, 2001

TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 24, 2001--NorAm Gaming and Entertainment, Co.,(OTCBB:NORE(E)), announced today that the Board of Directors is in the process of reviewing all of the Company's business transactions, public announcements and press releases for the period August, 2000, to the present.
The review is being conducted to determine the extent of NorAm's continuation with purchases, financing options, agreements and business associations, as stated in previous press releases.
The Board will inform the Shareholders of its findings in future press releases.
In order to clarify the press release dated April 16, 2001, regarding the appointment of John P. Corrigan as CEO, it should be noted that the Board appointed John P. Corrigan as "interim" CEO, until the annual Board of Directors meeting is held. |
