April 24, 2001-- Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO - news) today announced that it commenced the development of Hidden and Dangerous 2, the sequel to the critically acclaimed PC game Hidden and Dangerous. Hidden and Dangerous 2 will be published by Godgames, a subsidiary of Take-Two, and developed by Illusion Softworks. It is expected that Hidden and Dangerous 2 will be released in the fall of 2001.
The original Hidden and Dangerous, available for both PC and Sega Dreamcast, sold over 500,000 units worldwide. Hidden and Dangerous received critical acclaim and numerous awards throughout the US and Europe, including PC Gamer's - Game of the Month Award and PC Gaming World's top honor - The Essential Game Award.
