Understanding someone's context doesn't necessarily mean agreeing with it. But it is necessary before you impose moral judgment.

I've been following this discussion on MT with some interest. I had never heard anything bad about her before so I'm interested in finding out where the evidence lies. I shall wait patiently to see what you guys come up with.

Right now it looks like you are just setting the ground rules for discussion. FWIW, let me say that I'd be hard pressed to imagine any context or any moral judgment or any moral relativism that makes it less than abominable to deny pain medication to suffering and dying patients on the grounds that suffering on earth has some value either for MT or for the patient in the afterlife. Period.
