VZ just beat estimates with a solid profit, up from last year nicely even with a recession. My largest holding too. Its big wireless IPO will happen this year and unlock 5-10 billion more in value. Now all the other telcos can inspire more confidence. The market has been ignoring them lately. SBC, WCOM, FON deserve pops now. The one tech sector that hasn't rallied yet (besides e-services like SCNT which I also expect to move off their bottoms).
