When I was about twelve I decided to make gun powder. Got some sulphur, salt peter and ground up some charcoal. Filled an empty 12 shell box and tossed in a match. Now if I had mixed it all in water and dried it, I wouldn't be posting this. Mixed dry it made rocket fuel. The flames went about 8' high for 20 seconds. Glad I did it on the drive instead of the garage.
