Malcom, the story when first reported here in Austin, which is close to Lago Vista. came out a little different. The way it was reported was that the lady had one of the kids hanging out the window looking for something that had blown out of the truck. The officer didn't think that was a great idea and stopped her. She got belligerent and the arrest followed. The cops on Lago are pretty low key. The excitement out there is when a deer gets run over. I doubt she would have been arrested unless she was pretty argumentative with the police. The fact that it went to the supreme court says something about the state of our judicial system.
