Clifton Mining Names New Operations Advisor, Establishes
Site On The World Wide Web
PR Newswire - June 11, 1997 07:03

ALPINE, Utah, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- William D. Moeller, president and
chairman of Clifton Mining Company, (ASE: CFB), announced today that the
company has named Ta M. Li as operations advisor. In this newly created
position, Li will be responsible for initiating and directing metals
production efforts, starting with Clifton's soon-to-be completed 200 ton/day
processing mill.
With well over two decades' experience in the mining industry, Li has
served in a number of top-level executive roles, including president and chief
executive officer of an international minerals exploration company, vice
president of corporate development for mining consultants Behre Dolbear & Co.,
and chief operating officer of an international minerals consulting firm. In
addition, he has authored over 50 technical publications dealing with mine
development and operations, industry trends and commodity reviews.
"As we initiate operations in the next several weeks, Ta represents a
welcome addition to the Clifton team," said Moeller. "We are delighted to
have him on board and look forward to fully capitalizing on his experienced
perspective and industry savvy."
Clifton Mining also announced today the debut of its World Wide Web site
at itsnet.com. The site is dedicated to
providing up-to-date information about Clifton Mining, including the company's
corporate profile, mineral resource information, stock price data, and recent
announcements. Web users may also contact the company directly by electronic
mail through links provided on the site.
"In an age where information moves quickly and time is measured in
nanoseconds, we are enthusiastic about our decision to establish a presence
that affords Clifton the opportunity to communicate instantaneously with a
broad market," said Moeller.
Founded in 1993, Clifton Mining Company is a natural resource company
focused on silver, gold and lead production at its approximately 5,100-acre
property, located on the Utah/Nevada border. Of the property's 38 identified
shear veins, 9 have been sampled with precious metal resources calculated.
With less than ten percent of the first 9 veins estimated, Clifton Mining's
total proven and probable resources are calculated at nearly 444,000 tons. At
present, the company is constructing a 200 ton/day processing facility, which
is expected to begin operations in mid-1997.
