This was an absurd decision.

I wish some D.C. cop had the guts to pull over a Justice for some petty offense -- maybe not signaling a lane change far enough in advance -- and arrest him (or her), cuff them, take them to the station, strip search them, and lock them up until they can post bail, and say that the Supreme Court said this was all legal.

Problem is, they're too insulated from the consequences of their decisions.
