Well how cool. Unfortunately I don't have a ditch. I do have a little fountain out in the garden. Every Autumn we have a toad come and live under our deck. He makes a heck of a racket but we like it. He has been coming as long as we have lived here. Actually it is probably a different toad cuz we have lived here for 25 yrs and I don't think they live that long? We find the little Pacific Northwest Tree Frog sometimes too. They are becoming rarer though. There is a large pond down at the bottom of the hill that we live on (we are at the top) and frogs are quite active in there. It is so overgrown that we can't even get in there to check them out. When my boys were little they used to hunt frogs there. We are all on septic here and one day it dawned on me that the runoff from all the houses goes down there so I didn't let them go anymore. M
