You are supposed to have a pipe in the outflow of your septic system to drop chlorine tablets into. I have a pipe in my yard to make it look legal but my system is built on a large gravel bed and there is no outflow.

My ditch gets fed by close to 100 acres so during a heavy rain it can get quite full. I have traced where my ditch goes and the creek it feeds into and so on to where it empties into the Illinois River.
