Oh OK. I have always referred to it as "drain field" Yes it is the "outflow" that I always worried about when it came to the frog pond at the bottom of the hill. Our drain field consists of a maze of 4 inch tubing with thousands of little holes in it all buried underground. The icky stuff (effluent?) "leaches" out of the holes. The grass is really green over our drain field. Still a little confused about the chlorine thing. M
