IMO that is environmentally unsound. That would be like mixing chlorine in a bucket and pouring it into the pond. I have always been under the assumption that the soil, gravel, plants, sand ect.. create a natural filtering system that removes particulates before they get into the pond. Introducing chlorine makes it that much more difficult for the natural process to take place. (I am not a scientist) Are you saying that this is required of septic system users in your area? M
