You must check the Close on Exit box to get the window closed. It doesn't matter if EXIT is in the .BAT file or not in this case

I found this out by trial and error. It worked fine without it so I left it out. I agree that Bicycle's approach is simpler, but I was happy to learn both methods.

The use of Schedule Manager to create a.JOB file sounds interesting and I will give it a try.

At the moment I am trying to find out what program put BackWeb on my machine. Win Doctor keeps telling me there is an invalid key in the registry in reference to BackWeb. It keeps deleting this but it keeps coming back. BackWeb is not in the add/remove programs section of Control Panel so it must be a part of some other program. I am trying to track that down. Could be either Windows Updates or maybe Norton A/V or Utilities. Anyway that is my fun for today. :-)
