EDA Leaders/CDN/MENT:

IMO, MENT has lost the opportunity to become the dorminant leader. Their management performance is really bad. MENT has a history of weak management. I guess that's what you call 'corporate culture'.

I feel either CDN or SNPS will turn out to be the dorminant leader who commands both market share and mind share. For a company to be the MSFT/INTC/CSCO of EDA industry it needs to have 2B in annual revenue.
