Marc,

I no longer have the time nor inclination to read through Shaman's balance sheet. Besides, what's the point? I'll take your word for it that they are $7.8 mil in the hole.

Will they be sold for $10M? Don't know. Clearly, this depends on how one assesses their intangible assets, namely their unproven pharma and botanical pipeline. My gut feeling tells me those assets aren't worth much. If there is anybody out there that is interested, Shaman will have to cough-up all their data, good and bad, on these products. Since this is information is not available to any of us mere investors one can only wonder.

A good investor then concentrates on issues of management credibility and Shaman doesn't rate too highly in that department either. Remember the fab sales remark? Wheew! They've never yet accomplished anything they have set out to do. How heavily do you bet on a losing horse?

No, the only sure thing is bankruptcy. This horse has come in last too often, has been ridden by an overweight jockey and is limping badly. I suspect this horse would probably fail a saliva test. I doubt management wants the bankruptcy judge to look that close. Time to call a vet.

The only thing left for investors will be a puddle of glue.

Regards, Ed
