I don't quite understand your criticism, since it was published in a "free thinkers" magazine as an indictment Perhaps you have seen the numbers disputed somewhere? I have not; although I have seen them rounded off in different ways in accordance with the bias of the writer. How do you round off human torture and murder? Do you change something "worthless" like the murder of 56,000,000 into say the worthwhile murdering of (HEY, LET US BE GENEROUS--26,000,000). Do the numbers (which can only be estimated) mitigate the suffering, or excuse any of the terrible evil? Why do you think the numbers are implausible? Why do you think the exact numbers are pertinent or significant to the point?? Do you think a serial killer who was only able to get to 14, is somehow better than one who was able to get to 63? Give me a break.
