I saw a good one on the television news last night.

Apparently there is a new television show named "Jackass" (or something like that). They show people videotaped in the act of doing something incredibly stupid. The show has garnered a following amongst our teenaged population.

These 3 kids in Kentucky (I think) get this brilliant idea that one of them will attempt to jump (like in high jump) over a swiftly moving car driven by the second youth, while the third guy videotapes the stunt.

Yep, you guessed it. Kid #1 jumps into the path of the moving (guessin' about 40 MPH or so) car, and doesn't jump quite high enough. His upper torso lands on the car's roof, but his lower body hits the windshield and edge of the roof. The kid flips over in the air, the car proceeds forward, and the kid smacks hard onto the street bouncing and tumbling for a second or two. Broken bones, bruises and bleeding. Oh, and his friends were arrested.

I guess Jackass is a reasonable description in this case...
