We are now seeing the down side of paying some portion of the employee salaries in stock. Unless the stock issued is restricted so that it can't be sold for a certain period of say 12-18 months, it will come on to the market if as would be expected these employees really needed the cash instead. Since they are getting their stock at a discount to the market price, they can afford to sell aggressively, thus unwittingly driving the stock lower and lower when there are few buyers around. Whereas other juniors seem to have bottomed, this one is still looking for one. Who knows how low it will go...
