One (of many) of the dumbest things I have ever done. When 10 or 11 yrs. old. I jumped off a dock into 15' of water with a rock ( for rapid descent) and the end of length of garden hose in my hand. My chum was on surface holding the other end. The plan was to do the deep sea dive thing and breath through the hose. NOT! Can't be done ..not one cu. centimetre of air would come out. PartTwo: an unceremonious ascent at the speed of sound.
