Robert Smith, T. Rowe Price Growth Stock Fund

FDC, PEP and UNH are all stocks where you get reasonable
prices and companies that can grow earnings at nearly 15 percent
plus.

FDC is up 0.90 to 64.30.

PEP is up 0.96 to 44.11.

UNH is up 2.39 to 63.15; it reports earnings on Thursday.

VRTS is a great company that dominates the software storage
space. Smith is a bit cautious on the stock for the near term. This
is a hold if you own it, but avoid buying over the near term. Longer
term it's a great company that has a great position.

VRTS is up 0.88 to 57.78.

GE is one of the few companies for which you could say it is
almost always a great time to buy it. It's a great diversification play
and, overall, it will be paying out some decent returns. It will do
very well during the current economic slowdown.

GE is up 1.91 to 47.90.

Technology is beginning to stabilize in terms of demand. However,
the negative is it will be difficult for things to get a lot better in
terms of demand.

The Fed still has a lot of room to lower rates.
