AJ and all a DSL question.I just ran a search on the Verizon site that tells you if i can get DSL service at your phone number,
It was not surprising the answer was "no soup for you"(the population of my town in winter-time is 600--it is about 1200 in summer:).BUT,there is a catch, imo,as just by chance i live within 1,500 feet of the local Verizon Switching station and also 2 years ago they installed fiber optic lines on my road.
Some one insists this puts me WITHIN the last mile, and they must then provide me with DSL----can anyone verify this?max
