At 10:11am I entered an order to short 100shs DELL. I got 89 shs. Then 4 minutes later I got the other 11shs. Does this sound reasonable? It is one of the most actively traded stocks in the Nasdaq. What if I wanted to buy 1000 shares? Would I have gotten 10 different trades for my 9.95 commission at 89 shs 11shs 53 shs 47shs 103 shs 97 shs That is crazy. jpfoley@erols.com
