That brought back a memory. I had a summer job working at a gas station when I was about 16. It was a quiet afternoon, when my friend and I heard this noise in the distance. Couldn't figure out what it was, but it was getting louder and louder. We looked down the street, and saw this car with sparks shooting out maybe 15' on either side, going like a bat outta heck. We're thinking, "no way would this guy be dumb enough to drive in here to look for help, right?" Which is exactly what he did. Sparks flying, he drives onto the lot and right past the gas pumps, as we're cringing behind whatever cover we can find. The door opens, and the driver falls out, completely drunk. He's driven over a median somewhere, and the sign (the one that warns you it's a median, so don't drive here) is wedged between his rad and the road, hence the sparks. Scared the crap outta us.
