Ali, RE: Is not it a bit hypocritical? Is not it true that the "system" is designed with exactly the purpose to "steal that money" from Mom&Pop "investors"? I don't see that anything I said is hypocritical. The "system" is not designed to steal money from Mom & Pop investors. It is designed to maximize revenue. That revenue comes from many sources; Mom & Pop are only a small part of that picture. Mom & Pop investing in individual stocks isn't part of the picture at all. Usually that revenue maximizing process is very legitimate. Sometimes it isn't. IMO, Mom & Pop-sized investors usually belong in mutual funds.
