That is exactly my point Neo ..."Truths" of human nature
are Universal... so is often the superficiality.

....on a spiritual level we speak not of
Brahmins and Priests tho , but of Saints &
"Holy" ones . Those examples you site are
easy to dwell upon , but why ignore the heart
of what I am saying to you ?

Did you ever hear the story of the humble weaver
and Saint of southern India (2nd century BC )
called Tiruvallavar?

There are the verses he wrote called the Holy Kural
or Tirumantiram that is used as their Bible there.
It is used and sworn upon in their courts of law.
An amazing little book . A great Saint .

If you go to the southern most tip of India now
you will find a newly constructed statue facing the West ,
almost as tall as the statue of Liberty, all hand carved
with devotion.

It is called "the Statue of Liberation".
Really impressive. There is your juxtaposition
and reconciliation that must come into being
at some point in our history .
East will meet West
eventually...

Ther are numerous similarities that could be mentioned
of people burning in fires in Christian history...very many.
Why go there ?
;-(

mars

PS : The Tirumantiram are the oldest preserved writngs
in the world of the exact sayings of a "holy one" that
came down thru history in their orignal form.
One for you to investigate someday.
