"A 128 bit P4 DDR system will be much cheaper than an RDRAM system"

While I agree with you on that, no one has a chipset that does that yet. The VIA PX266 is a 64 bit wide chipset ( viahardware.com ), and the Intel one is likely to be the same. Ok, so if someone in the future comes out with a 128 bit wide chipset for DDR, then AMD will have some problems. But Intel won't do that, they seem to still be focused on DRDRAM for their performance systems. Maybe VIA or ATI will wise up, but that is still to be seen.
