It cost me $190 canadian dollars in commission to buy 5,000 shares of BAY thru TD Waterhouse. Now that is high cost! I can buy South African ADR's for $12 commission. I am really going to think twice before I buy another Canadian. I will only buy another Canadian only listed share if there is absolutely no alternative on the U.S. exchanges. I would say BAY fits the bill so I have no regrets for that purchase.
