In RE: to your post as to why Cube has not signed anyone up. I think CUBE doesn't want to really roll it out until they have the encoder/decoder/security/ everything else, into one single chip and at a good price. I personally wouldn't buy a DVD until they become writeable. Also the first generation are the 4.7 gig format right? Well I'd rather have the 17.1 gig.
