Lies It is of course a lie that a gun ever killed someone, as well as a lie that an auto, a pool, a drug, or any number of common items in society did the same. There was an individual involved that bears the responsibility, a stranger, a friend, a parent, a doctor or the deceased. All the pretensions otherwise, are just pretensions and treating citizens like children will not produce anything but a society of children. Valuing the individual and the potential individual equally is not a mistake in my mind. Lawyers like to slice the truth incredibly thin but even Solomon rejected that idea.
