My report on NT AGM.

The AGM was held today in Calgary. I must say that the music was amazing prior to starting the meeting.
Generally, it was a very subdued audience. When Roth was introduced, everyone sat on their hands. No applause. Interesting.
Roth's part of the program stated that future is in 3 areas:
Wireless, Metro and Enterprise. Wireless should improve by 30% for the next quarters, Metro will grow and the Enterprise is dependent on the US economy.
During the Q & A, there were only 3 questions.
Q1 dealt with if NT had this major SAP application controlling inventory, sales, etc, how come you, John, came out and said Oops, we have a earnings problem. John responded saying that NT was not aware of the customers' chief financial officers take on the customers business. He said the customers marketing and techie were out of sync with the finances.
Q2 dealt with what are they doing to improve the stock value and would they consider buying back some stock. Wishywashy answer but no stock buyback.
Q3 was to do with metro and I think that may have just been a plant.
That was the meeting. All I got for my paper losses was a second class box lunch. Security was in evidence throughout the meeting.
