You could also add Directory Services to something Oracle could gain with Novell. Remember, eDirectory is a "layer" atop a database (granted). Packaging a Directory Service that can handle authentication, security and more could be the hidden gem for Oracle. Especially when you consider that MSFT has Active Directory and SUNW has iPlanet's MetaDirectory product and IBM...well....they kind of have all three don't they :) Great info Elmo - there's plenty of speculation abound and this one makes some good sense.
