and thx for the putting the astoecon chart, (Author: Robert Hitt), in context with the favoured scenario here. I just wanted to keep the wider frame on the fringe.

I'll stay away from the bullish COMP count for now as it portends new highs<gg>

I will be very surprised myself to see the COMPX clear the island gap around 2450-2500... that could be a key to setting a most convincing trap if it happens though.

Of course, I'll let the market dictate, but micro and macro economic conditions almost certainly command further long term weakness across the board... in all the indexes, with some great counter trend rallies.
