We've got excellent precedence in both sides of our family. Hubby's parents were married for 56 years, mine have been married for almost 37, hubby's brother for over 30, all my aunts & uncles that got married in the late 60s and early 70s are ALL still married to the same person. Amazes me sometimes when I see the statistics out there. Unfortunately they never publish the long lasting marriages, just the failures.
