<font color=green>Process Geeks comment on No. of Palomino's per wafer.

aaamath.com for math reference only.

Pi*(.5D)^2=Area of Circle

Pi=22/7 approx

Pi*100mm*100mm= 31415.9265mm^2 for a 200mm Wafer

Pi*150mm*150mm=70685.8347mm^2 for a 300mm Wafer

That is 225% more surface area by going to 300mm

130nm is 28% smaller than 180nm.

Looking at Palomino on 130nm at 80mm^2 and just doing pure math give us

392 chips on a 200mm wafer

and

883 chips. on a 300mm wafer.

We of course are fitting squares on a circle and need to probable adjust those numbers by 10 to 15% due to edges.

Please comment.

P.S what is the W.P.W output of Fab 30 today? 2500?
