He is in France, but not in Prison. The New York Times has had a few interesting stories. In fact there has been a lot of Press... But nothing concerning PNLK or STEN...all over the country. It's linked to a US Senator.
He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of funnelling funds into a Federal election campain in support of that Senator, which was illegal for a foreign citizen. We are very far from Securities Fraud or any SEC involvement.
If anyone is really interested I can give a full and detailed account of events. But apart from curiosity, there is no real reason to have a current interest in Malko, unless just his ghost can revive certain people and passions...
