Just my corporate politics 2 cents worth.

A friend of mine, and a long time AXC shareholder, is very upset that Slusser Associates is handling the ADS sale now ...also very wary of the incestuous relationships between AXC and Sherborne etc. I am not. To me almost all scenarios are win win win win, or quad losses, for board members and CEOs and shareholders and Sherborne right now.So motivations should be alligned with our best interests. My only concern would be the fine print of a breakup or reorganization, but please find me one corporation anywhere where the shareholders don't get screwed and the officers do fine in a scenario like that.
If I thought they were aiming at something like that, I would sell in 5 minutes.

If Slusser's group can bag a good price ( though I would prefer he be paid at least partly in shares), we ll make out. So will he and Sherborne and Bramson and shareholders.If not..if they can't untangle the balance sheet.....we all suffer at least to some degree. He is certainly well qualified for the role as go between.Former head of mergers and acquisitions at Paine Weber, if I am not mistaken

One other obvious point. Those who shout for a no vote on the proxy? If you are truly serious, get busy and try to elect ALTERNATIVES. A simple no, even if a majority, accomplishes virtually nothing in my opinion.
