Tom,

I bought after they reported successful demonstrations for Lenscrafters. When they didn't report a major order from them, I knew I was in trouble. I've taken a bath and don't even look at it any more. Have more or less written it off. If it ever decides to come back - great, but I'm not going to be holding my breath.

They seem to be stumbling around trying this and that with no forward movement and everything they try just worsens financial condition. Very soon now they won't be able to borrow or put out another stock offering or warrants or ... They've used just about every tactic available to raise funds with very little to show for it. Complete disregard of stockholders except optimistic PR. Even if successful, they have too many other obligations to cover before the stockholders can see any benefit.

It has amazed me. An excellent product at a reasonable price and a margin that should have allowed a profit. I would think that marketing thru optical supply companies would have been easy using a small sales force. They'd be dealing with a small group of companies that were already selling products to the objective market. Instead, they've chosen to use invested monies to buy Sterodyne (profitable until they got ahold of it) and hire a large group of marketing people. Now the monies are depleted and we have a new 'Vice President of Marketing' and a new marketing strategy that looks a lot like the old. Encouraging isn't it?

I think you are probably right about lobbying effort. At least Polaroid was supposed to be paying for it. How long before Polaroid gives up on them?

I'm consoled in knowing I can't loose much more. Another 21 cents? Nothing when the amount already gone is considered.

Ron
