When I was a kid and didn't understand hernias, ruptured disks and heart attacks,, I pushed a 67 skylark up 3 levels of a downtown parking garage....one of those deals where you had to go up before you could go down and out... Those were the days when after you did that kinda work, you could refresh in a few minutes after you stopped. Today, I would either be dead or in bed for 2 days after..... Poker here is mostly for fun. Some times we get a few hundred coming and going....not often. A good night will be plus or minus $60...all the food and booze included. And enough BS that you couldn't buy for a grand on the street. YOur Dad did pretty well......$175 a month was a new car payment in those days. I got money in college by shooting pool. ONly ever lost to one guy with any regularity. Then one day a kid with an odd accent came in.....1974 was the year....said he never played pool before.....but he loved to play SNOOKER...I had no idea what snooker was ....so I bet the farm.....and lost the lower 40...heheheee SHootiegotsnookered
