Here's where you find out what Realtors get from Realtor.com/Homestore (HOMS)....

realtor.com

No need to go adopt a false identity and tape interviews with customer service reps......that recorded interview and all the stock bashing has been giving me lots to laff at for the past few days.

Disclosure: I am a licensed real estate broker who used to be a member of NAR and had my web page posted on the internet via HOMS. It serves a purpose....made me lots of money by linking me to buyers and sellers from all over the world. Believe it or not, there is value to a website that represents almost the entire real estate market in the United States and is backed by the largest trade association in the United States, which is the National Association of Realtors.
With all due respect to efforts that might bring down overpriced stocks, you might want to understand a lot more about how the industry works before you gain any credibility in bashing the website.

I don't like the management tactics at HOMS any more than you seem to, but you are on the wrong track in your criticisms and none of your criticisms mean that HOMS management is crooked or bilking investors.

Further disclosure: I don't own the stock. Declined to purchase IPO shares when the price got bumped up to $20. But none of this means you are going in the right direction with the bashing.

Meanwhile, I will continue to watch this bashing unfold with great amusement...we all know the stock will drop eventually due to market conditions, but I wonder why mutual funds bought the stock and why NAR spends millions of dollars to have it.....might be something fundamentally valuable about it?????? What do I know????
