My understanding also. I had thought of one option, down the road, where iNEXTV is IPO'd with Drew Cummings as Pres/CEO of iNEXTV (AENTV is folded into iNEXTV) - management depth and experience. iNEXTV then becomes a new entity with it's own source of equity and operating capital.

Ampex's relationship would be iNEXTV shares on Ampex's balance sheet. Ampex would retain the original debt and ADS. Proceeds from the sale of ADS would retire Ampex debt. Remaining debt from ADS would be retired from remaining Ampex royalty streams. TV1 would also be IPO'd and its relationship to Ampex would be an Ampex balance sheet asset.

Existing Ampex common shareholders would be given insider IPO prices to invest in iNEXTV and perhaps TV1. Eventually Ampex would be liquidated and proceeds from the sale of Ampex balance sheet holdings would be distributed to Ampex shareholders.
