JT, it's hard to find any gems out there, especially among the big caps. I am really surprised the hi-techs like RIM, and CLS are holding on to gains from the recent low this month. If Greenspan doesn't lower rates next month, that would be terrible news for the markets. Lower interest rates can support a higher PE, but I think the market has factored in a 50 point drop at the Fed's next meeting.

I still favour IRD and have now taken a position in BOW. I've had a few winners this year, including ATX which I mentioned in post 1644, 1646. I thought it was good, but nothing gets me too excited nowadays. I'm excited about IRD but the market doesn't seem to care

You may want to look at some boring companies like: DMK (PE=5, special dividends in the past), FMO (O&G related) and CKI. CKI is a good bet for a turnaround in the economy (low debt, dividend yield about 4.4%).

I doubt if TOMmy will hit <.20. If it did, I would be in big time!

Ciao
